Earlier this year, I was honored to be selected as a conference presenter for WE Local Baltimore. WE Local Baltimore is one conference in a series of SWE geographically-based conferences. These conferences are held both in North America and globally where attendees meet locally and learn socially. We had over 75 attendees at our session on career fair preparation strategies and resume development and it was great to be able to impart my knowledge and experiences regarding these topics to help current collegiates! 

WE Local Baltimore was a fantastic experience filled with inspiring stories from all the keynote speakers and presenters. It is refreshing to be surrounded by so many women engineers and diversity partners and learn from their experiences. SWE’s supportive community has continually encouraged to take opportunities outside of my comfort zone, including presenting at this conference.
